Abstract
The geo graphical boundarie s of Indie were conquered by Muslim rulers but the spiritual domain of Indian people was conquered not by the foreign invaders but by the saints who were actually kings of the kings. They conquered the hearts of Indian people by their teachings, and resultantly hindus willingly embraced Islam. Muslim saints preached the teachings of Islam which were based on equality, brotherhood, and love. The teachings of Sufi's reached into the far flung areas of India.Balochistan was the first previliged area where message of Islam was accepted by a group of Balochis who reached Madina to embrace Islam during the time of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).See p. 43-44 Qais Abdul Rasheed and sevent y leading people went to Arabia from Zhob) Some Muslim saints personally reached into Balochistan and blessed the people with their teachings.They did not take permanent residence in Balochistan and returned back. The other saints though did not personally arrive in Balochistan but their spiritual teachings made way into this region. The people of Balochistan fully benefited from their teachings. The devotees of these saints permanently settled in Balochistan and continued to impart spiritual teachings.
