Objective:To determine theimmunization (29%) at Divisional Headquarters Hospital, coverage of individual vaccine according to WHO Faisalabad, Pakistan. Fifty eight percent were expanded programme on immunizationand male and 42% were female. Only 63% children determinefactors causing hindrance inpoorly were fully vaccinated according to EPI schedule immunized cases. with individual percentage of82.4% for BCG, Methodology: This was cross sectional 77.5% for OPV &Pentavalent (3 doses) and descriptive studyconducted at pediatrics 67.3% for Measles (2 doses). Most of the children departments of Madinah Teaching Hospital and (716; 44.8%) got vaccinated from mobile teams. Divisional Headquarter Hospital, Faisalabad, over The main reasons for unvaccination or incomplete a period of one year from May 2012 to April 2013. vaccination were unawareness (42.6%) and nonA totalof 1600 parents,who hadchildren between availability of nearby facility (21.5%). 13 months to 2 years of age visiting the pediatrics Conclusion:The immunization coverage outpatient departments, were interviewed.They according to EPI is not up to the mark, whichcan were inquired about different aspects of be a major contributory factor towards high Infant awareness regarding EPI, national immunization and under 5 mortality in Pakistan.
